I hate it when bloggers suddenly stop posting, leaving their blog hanging unfinished for eternity, so I'm wrapping up my little blog here. It's fitting really. My original goal was to blog for 1001 days, and that's just about what I've done.
I'm sure this doesn't come as a surprise to anyone given my lack of posting recently. Life has gotten so busy lately that I'm just not able to keep up anymore. I hope that I'm able to come back soon. Either here or somewhere else, so I hope you don't all unsubscribe from the blog and un-like my Facebook page right away. Even as I write this, I have so many ideas for posts running through my head. I'd love to put them out there sometime. It might be in a month, or six months, or more, but I'd love to come back and see you all again. Who knows, I might even be able to keep up some sort of Facebook presence because I know I'd love to keep posting updates about the dogs somewhere (so head over there if you want to keep seeing them).
I really love this little blog and the friends I've made from it. I've learned so much from blogging. I've learned about the amazing network of people who are out there supporting animal rescue. It's crazy to think that when I started this blog I had almost zero involvement in the rescue world, and now I find myself neck deep in it. I've learned a love for photography, something I never would have pursued without seeing the fabulous photos of bloggers like Aleks. I'm still learning, but it's so much fun. I've also learned more HTML than I ever thought I would, ha.
I've made great friends - to everyone in the Pittie Posse and beyond. Big shout out to Emily and everyone else I've friended in IRL on Facebook. I would love to meet you all in person someday. If you're ever in DC hit me up. That's a standing invitation to meet this handsome dude:
