This is a picture of me when I was a kid. My mom tells me that I was helping with the Thanksgiving meal in this photo. I'm posting it because I think it's pretty indicative of the kind of adult that I grew up to be.
Things you can tell about me from this photo:
- I am a hardcore fashionista. Sweaters that fabulous don't just end up in your closet by accident you know. My taste in clothes remains as stylish as ever.
- I'm not a natural chef. Looks like I have a recipe there in front of me and I'm guarding it with my life. I have been known to use a cookbook when making a sandwich as an adult. True story.
- I'm not a morning person. I look sort of hungover here right? I know my mom didn't give me alcohol so the only other explanation is that it's before noon and I'm not a fan of being forced into child labor by my mother and grandmother.
- I have serious Type A tendencies. I look so serious! See my rolled up sleeves? See how I'm reaching for something with such purpose? No one was going to ruin this meal if I had anything to do with it! I am still completely neurotic.
Even though I feel like this photo pretty much sums up my entire personality in a very cute nutshell, maybe there's something you'd still like to know about me. Maybe my favorite color? (currently turquoise) Which NFL team I root for? (The Lions... I know, it's sad...)

I totally root for the lions too. Only because when I was younger, I hated football (I still do, really) and my cousin asked me "If you don't like the Vikings, who do you like?" and the only team I could remember were the lions. To this day he always asks me how I think the Lions will do this year, or asks me about their most recent game.
