Also, THANK YOU so much for the comments on yesterday's post about adopting Heidi. I was honestly worried that I would get a lot of "I can't believe you did that" reactions. And while I have to think that some of you are thinking it anyway, I'm glad the overriding thought is one of congratulations. So, thank you again (because I mean it so much I have to say it twice). Seriously, it means a lot to know that my crazy dog lady ways are well received (or at least humored, lol).
Heidi has settled in really well at our house, but I don't think I've shown nearly enough photo evidence of how truly "at-home" she is. It has become abundantly clear that Heidi believes that the sofa exists only for her own personal comfort.* For the record, I present exhibits A, B, and C:

And those don't even show how much she loves playing with Melanie (I will try to get photos and/or video of that soon!)

*And I'm sure when we replace that old sofa, she will think that the new one does too! (Hopefully that will happen right after the floors are done...)

LOL Kari ...
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I can see she's going to provide a lot of comedy around your place.
ReplyDeleteAww the last picture is perfect :)
ReplyDeleteADORABLE!! She was meant to live with you guys!
ReplyDeleteWoods thinks the couch belongs to him too although admittedly he takes up less space than Heidi. He has even been known to get mad at us if we take up too much of his space--how rude! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, know wonder you decided to keep her! Who could turn her out after seeing those pups cuddle!
