4 Hands = 4 Dogs, Part II

Yup, we've gone and done it again. We're fostering another dog.

Meet Heidi.

She's the newest temporary addition to Casa 26.

We'd been saying we were going to wait to foster again until the summer, but sometimes a cute face and sweet personality cannot be denied. Heidi is a total love bug but the shelter she was in was all full and they don't adopt pit bulls to the public (BSL seriously sucks). Her time was running out quick and I couldn't stomach the thought of not even trying to see if it would work, and well, here we are with four dogs. Again.

Good with dogs. Good with cats. Good with kids. It's the adoptable dog trifecta!

The new (temporary!) addition hasn't been without it's stresses, another dog is no small thing, but she's totally worth it. She's got to be just about the sweetest girl I've ever met.

Plus, she smiles.

How could you say no to that?

  2. She may be the most beautiful pittie I've ever seen. Her smile looks like Aspen's smile. You know she's loving life when you see it :)

Sending you a big virtual hug for saving such a sweet little one.

  13. Congratulations! She looks amazing. Hopefully you won't have her all that long before she finds a new permanent family.

How do you do it? I'm not kidding. I barely have the time for one dog. I would love to foster but just don't know how I could provide a good enough home. You are amazing.

  14. Oh wow, Heidi is SO cute! I love that face. Kudos to you guys for taking on another one! I've considered fostering before, but it's never manifested into more than just a thought. I think it would be rewarding, but so hard to not get attached!

So happy there are people like you out there who do good things like this!
