My Target nightstands arrived in the mail last week. One actually arrived two days after the other. I don't know how they got separated, I'm just glad they both made it here.
Because I like them. I really really like them.

I never knew having a place to put my books at night could feel like such a luxury.

They were super easy to put together. It took longer to open the boxes than it did to put the tables together. I did it during a commercial break of The Daily Show.
Once the nightstands were in I was able to make a final position decision on the headboard and bedside lights. Sadly, the headboard still isn't mounted to the wall. Mr. T was out while I did all this and I need his help since the headboard is so ginormously huge. Once it's permanently on the wall it'll be a couple inches higher, but for now it doesn't look too shabby for being wedged between the mattress and the wall.
And of course, once the nightstands were in place I got some lights up.

Ikea's Alang lights. Two for $40. Frugal with a capital "F." (that's because it was the first word in a sentence)

And no, Melanie did not move one inch while I was taking these photos. At one point I actually poked her to make sure she was alive.
She gave me the stink eye and went back to sleep when I did that.

That's the unconditional love of a dog my friends. A stink eye and a snore.
