I know I've been quiet for the past couple days on the posting front, but I swear I haven't been slacking off. I've been doing lots of blog related sprucing up so I wanted to highlight a few new things to prove it. Yay for new stuff!
And if this post has taught me anything, it's that "writing" in paint is hard it makes everyone looks like they have horrible handwriting. I have a new found respect for Allie Brosh. Whatever. It was still kinda fun.
New Header! Su-weet! Hopefully I'll stick with this for awhile. But no promises. Check out that cute dog. He looks so attentive.
New Pages! I now have devoted pages for my Before & Afters, Book Reviews, and the four legged residents of Casa 26 (they no longer just take you to posts with those tags!). Check them out!
Responding to your comments! I'm trying to reach out to more of you and respond directly to your comments via email. I can't get everyone all the time, but I'm doing my best. But that only works if your email is linked! Pretty pretty please (with a cherry on top!) go to your blogger account and link up your email address so I can reply to you!
Feedburner is up and running. If you prefer to receive posts via email just put your email address in the the handy little box and you'll get my posts every day. I can feel how giddy you are over it.
I'm sick of calling my husband "The Hubs." From now on The Hubs will be called Mr. T. Not because he's a bald man that likes to wear big necklaces, but because his name starts with a T. I'm creative that way.
Twitter is dead to me. I haven't posted anything ever, but I'm officially saying it now. If you can find my feed to follow me, go ahead, but don't expect anything. Once my daily dog twitpics started giving me trouble I just abandoned the idea completely. Sorry. I am considering doing a Daily Dog pic somewhere on the blog though - would anyone be interested in a new picture of one of the dogs each day or would that be a waste of time? Leave a comment to let me know what you think or cast your ballot in the poll in my sidebar.

Love the changes! I also hate using "the hubs" and thinking of changing it soon!
ReplyDeleteI love the changes. I think I will stick with calling mine The Hubs for a while longer. Sometimes I call him Ian but it really just depends on my mood :)

I love the new header. Love. And ditto on the new hubs thing. Though I sometimes use N.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the twitter. Never will! I love your new blog header, I really need to get on top of that on mine.
ReplyDeleteWow- you've been busy! I wish I could make some of these changes... Maybe I should get my tech savvy hubs on that ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
Ha! I registered for Twitter (peer pressure), but I think I have posted once. And I was slightly inebriated. And the post was about the drink I was having. So yeah, I'm not a twit(terer).
ReplyDeleteAnd yes please, more doggie pics! Nothing is more precious than a happy pittie! (or German Shepherd :D )
It's always fun to refresh the blog. Looks great!
