Chopped

I did it! With one quick cut, I went from this ...

To this ...

Better right? And can I just say that this was the best haircut of my life?! The stylist was so excited when I told him I was there to donate my hair. No less than five other people came up to talk to me about it. He ended up taking off a little over 11 inches and now I just have to send it off to Locks of Love.

there's something icky about seeing it like that isn't there?

It's been awhile since I first set my goal to donate my hair and I'm SO HAPPY to have finally made it. And since he took off over 11 inches, I was able to donate more than I thought. It's a great feeling.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I don't think I'll be growing my hair out again right away to donate, but it's something I'd definitely do again eventually. As an added bonus, the hair that couldn't be donated to Locks of Love will be sent to help with the oil spill. My crazy hair will be helping people all over the place.
