Guest Bedroom Revealed!

I'm finally done. This room no longer looks like this ...

Now it looks like this ...

It took me awhile, but all the pieces have finally come together and I got it done.

From getting rid of the old paint color ...
And hitting
the halfway point ...
To scoring a
free light fixture ...
Sewing great
pillows covers ...
Making a custom
DIY headboard ...
Refinishing thriftstore
nightstands ...
Finding a place for my
favorite refinishing project ...
And applying a full wall of
decals ...

The nightstands are ready for guests. A couple lamps, an alarm clock, and something to read.

The mirrors above reflect the birch tree decals on the opposite wall.

And there's a few more books on the other side of the room.

So this room is all done ...

But there's still an entire house to go ...

I'm linking this up to: Metamorphosis Monday, Make It For Monday, Brag Monday, A Soft Place to Land,  Show And Tell @ Blue Cricket Design, Its So Very Cheri, Transformation Thursday, Saturday Nite Special,

The paint color is Behr's Sparrow.

  8. Very nice! I'm not always a fan of decals, but you've done a really nice job - they look like they "belong," rather than just being "there." I think I've found a new blog to follow! (I found you from the nest D&R, I'm d-and-k)

I really love the gray/white combo! Although with the dogs, I make sure to lay that throw out over the bed in case they decide to jump up on it!

I love the decals and my husband and I have been talking about painting a "woods" like scene in our living room, but I'm hoping to convince him to buy the decals instead! I can't wait to show my husband your transformation tonight! It might inspire him to get his butt moving on our room! :)
